What its like for a student in this economy…
Its a tough time being a studentt getting ready to graduate. With the economy in the situation it is in, are there going to be any jobs in the media markets when it comes time for me to get a career?
The topic for our blog is: “How the economy is effecting things you enjoy doing in your spare time. You can also talk about how the economy is effecting you in your personal life and/or how it’s effecting the media industry(ies) you get a job in some day.”
Well as far as doing things in my personal life is concerned, my shopping trips have diminished as well as my visits to the local hole in the walls in bucks county. (Although I’m thinner thanks to that) The economy has put a damper on the restaurant i work in as well. I used to make a good amount of money and we were always busy. Now, we stand around until 6:30-7:00 waiting for tables to come in. So because of my cash roll is running low I have been taking it easy at home on the weekends. And surprisingly i have put more of my focus on school, which is always a good thing…
